Like many, growing up I ate the Standard American Diet full of processed meals and junk food. Due to some minor aches and pains, I decided to revamp my diet in a quest to feel my best. What I found is that what you eat makes a HUGE difference, especially when that food is whole, unprocessed, and real.
Finding real food has led me to live a much happier life. I have had success curing my digestion issues, headaches, hypoglycemia, as well as balanced my hormones and have noticed a big improvement with my chronic neck pain. Those unwanted stubborn pounds have fallen off. My skin is healthy and clear. My anxiety has been on a steady decline. I feel strong and healthy and I trust my body.
A little about me…
I’m Rachel, a Texas native who now calls Florida home. I live with my husband and our three dogs. I am passionate about real food and healthy living. I went from eating a heavily processed diet to finding real food, as well as balance, and my life has been transformed. I want others to know how easy it is to make this change and why it is worth making in the first place.
I don’t believe in trying to create the perfect diet. Eating a wide variety of traditional, real, whole foods is the only “rule” I give myself. I try to get as many nutrients into my day as possible and when I fail to do so, I give myself grace. I indulge my sweet tooth, within reason. I strive to find balance in my diet and lifestyle. When my mind and body are in sync and happy, I am happy. I try to live simply and as stress free as possible. Life is too short to be stressing about food– food that was meant to nourish our bodies in order for us to function optimally.
At Real Delites, you will find real food and natural living tips. You will also find recipes for real food, specifically simple real food for those who may just be making the switch. I am not a nutritionist by any means. All opinions are my own. I have researched real food and natural living extensively and only provide information on things I believe and live by myself.
